We reported a minor 8.3% decrease in pre-movers month-over-month from July 2024 to August 2024. Additionally, we saw a 5.1% decrease in pre-movers year-over-year from August 2023 to August 2024.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-size ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">This intent data is significant considering pre-movers&#8217; numbers have dropped greatly in the last two months. Traditionally, the summer months are an ideal time for homeowners to put their houses on the market; however, we are seeing a shift this year, most likely due to decreased interest rates.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b76b1a4 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" 2024<\/span><\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7edd997 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" aria-level=\"1\">The provinces with the biggest decreases in pre-movers year over year from <b>August 2023 to August 2024<\/b> were Newfoundland (-18.4%), New Brunswick (-10.7%), and British Columbia (-9.5%).<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1877cb2 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\"
